Default Blues Indoor/Outdoor variety grow 2016

    fruit/veg diary for 2016

so after having to pack up my recent grow for a little while ive found myself sat twidling my thumbs itching to tend to some plants, nothing worse than not being able to do what you enjoy. After having a read through the horti section last night i thought why not get something else on the go in the meantime, Now I know its not quite canna and maybe not as interesting to some but i thought id do a diary as some of you might be interested

    Seeds

    California Wonder sweet Pepper
    Jalapeno Chilli Pepper
    Hungarian Hot Wax Chilli Pepper
    De Cayenne Chilli Pepper
    Alicante Tomato
    Maskotka Tomato
    Red Green Lettuce salad

ive started these off in verve sowing and cutting compost , BnQ had it inside the store off the ground on a shelf, not a knat or pest in sight which is a supprise, usually pallet stacked outside in the rain.

il leave them at room temp in the prop for 2 weeks then get them on the widowsill and finally into a greenhouse outside, please feel free to join in and offer any tips and advice

This looks awesome, a friend of mine has an allotment, grows loads of fruit and veg, in fact I'm round there every Sunday having Sunday dinner with local produce on the plate, all organic, none of the supermarket pesticide crap!
Works well for my plants too because all my used soil and plants go straight on the compost heap!

    WEEK 2

The Alicante tomatoes,DeCayenne chillis and Maskotka tomatoes have all decided to show there heads but still no signs of life from any others yet.

Narrowed it down to the best one in each pot, il do the rest when they finally show

When you grow something like this it makes you appreciate just how fast the canna grows in comparison
Theyve been sat at room temp up to now and recieved there first bit of daylight on the windowsill today. Bring on the sunshine

Thats all for now folks, thanks for looking
