Default Lead time for harvest and curing

    Good afternoon all,

I may have a little predicament I hope one of you could help with. Everything is going great but this is my first grow (Purple Kush in organic soil under CFLs) and I don't have a reference point to help me make this decision, hence my post. When I research the flowing time, the breeder says 8 to 10 weeks but some sources say between 7 & 12. I am going on week 6. Now, here is the issue. I am going to Jamacia (won't need to take any with me ). If they aren't completely ready I may have to just set a date to harvest. How much time would I need from the day I harvest until they are cured enough to leave them unattended for 8 days? I know there are a number of variables but I am looking for a ballpark idea.

    Thanks in advance!

Cfl's are slow growing so no idea how long your plants will take.
Yourll need 4 days to dry then probly another week of opening the jars
Everyday so that may be enough to not get mould when you get back.

Thanks! I will probably have to just set a date to harvest... Two weeks should be plenty of time then? They are doing well with lots of trichome development. I can give them another 4+ weeks of growth so I hope to have some Amber colour by then....Click image for larger version.
