    Default Trich concerns...

Okay, it's been 2-1/2 weeks since my trichs went cloudy.
Don't know if this affects things but....
When I repotted @ 6 weeks ago, I had put the girls in such large containers, that I had nothing big enuff to put under them to let them drain.
So I don't have any holes drilled in either container.
I harvested the first last Saturday, obviously the trichs were still cloudy.
My question is, is this what's causing my trichs to stay cloudy?
I know I should be flushing, but no way to do it.
I've been waiting and waiting and waiting.....still no signs of amber.
    This is really frustrating
Can anyone help on what I should do at this point?
Since I just have the one girl left, I might be able to find something to put under her so I can drain, but don't know if anything will be affective now to help get to some amber.
    Please give me some input......
    Thanks as always.....

    Peace

civilisations are like the little sparks that fly from a bonfire, winking into existance and being snuffed out as they confront their own particular obstacle.

    Thanks GS......
All I have to do is get out my conversion chart.....
Actually, this is kinda what I had in mind.
Just didn't know if the draining thing was the reason for the trich issues.
At this point I'm ready to say f*ck it, and cut her down.
Tired of waiting, and don't know if there's anything I can do to get these trichs to turn now.
If the draining will have an affect at this point, then willing to start draining and trying to flush some. Didn't know if this was too little too late tho.
    Thanks for the input bra!!!

    Peace

How old are they, what are they, how long u been feeding only water now, the final flush is feeding just water not running 3 times the water through so even without holes in bottom the plant would be getting flushed of nutes and from soil over the 7-14 day flush meaning it would start to eat its self up and die nice n clean.

    hey dekay...
They just finished 10 weeks flowering today.
    It's a pure afghan.
They're in a time released potting soil.
    It's in @ an 18" x 22" x 10" deep container.
Been watering w/ a gallon of water every other day or so...
Is the fact that the container is opaque enter into it?
Anyway, let me know what you think.
    Thanks for looking into this!

    Peace

Roots dont like light on em n should be covered hawk, she should indeed have finished but is it 10 weeks from 12/12 or from showing, I would cover the pots sides give it another week n see but as they are all cloudy u know u can take her anytime. Its annoying when they dont finish when they should so i always add onto my finish time to avoid dissappointment as a lot of plants do go a week or so over what they spose to.
Whats the time released soil btw.

    Thx again dekay.
    It's been 10 weeks since 12/12.
Potting soil is MG (love that term "potting" soil...)
Anyway, I'll cover up the sides tonite, and see where it gets me.
I really want this one to go amber so I can tell the difference in the smokes and what I'd prefer.
Just thought maybe since I wasn't flushing proper (draining)
that that might have something to do with the delay.
Took the first girl last Saturday and chopped her.
Smoke is decent on quick dry, but hope that it gets better with time.
At least I know this one is not some kinda freak by the sound of things.
Just a little more waiting (sigh)
Thanks again dekay, I appreciate your help very much!

    Peace

I would be tempted not to use that MG time released stuff, have heard it doesnt buffer nutes very well, has a high PH (see previous), can come with pests, and gives the wrong amounts and ratios to plant throughout, even found a comparison grow with other soils and it didnt fair very well at all on many levels. It may have been the reason its gone longer, if any.

I agree, prob not the best soil to use.
I also have run into a continuous over-feeding condition
w/ the leaves always being slightly curled.
Really has gotten to piss me off.
I want plants that look like everyone else's (healthy)
And I did have some bugs here and there. I even swear ta god, found about a 3" long peice of a white plastic knife in one bag so....I don't think they care what's in the soil tbh....
If we don't have John Innes available in the area, know of another soil or 2 that ya might recommend?
Thanks again for keeping track. I appreciate it as always..

    Peace

Well JI is the best but any multi with JI will do although i dont rate B n Q's multi i know many use it on here and most soils will be better than a timed release from MG. I am really liking batmix if u order stuff.
