So I was searching around my area and found a fridge that had a thermostat problem for £10.
I got it home and removed all the crap from the fridge, compressor pipes etc.
Where the compressor sat I installed my Psu which is powering my fans and put some wood on hinges to hide it.
I have a fan intake into the freezer compartment, a fan intake from freezer to fridge and a DIY carbon filter on the extake fan.
Here are a few pics.
I need to cut holes for the pots to sit.
Bottom will be a cfl powered section and the top LED.
Unsure of temps yet but will tweak the fans or even turn them off depending on heat levels.
Freezer will be seedlings top will be veg with seeds/clones done 2-3 weeks apart to keep a constant stream then putting into my 2.4mx1.2mx2m tent for flowering.
To use a psu you need to short this section of the atx to think it's being turned on. I am mid way through a complete write up to replicate once I have temps sorted as no need to have middle fan if temps are too low.
Price is a massive factor for this build and I'm keeping costs low as much as possible.
