    Default I can smell burning!

    Easy lads shut everything off but the Rvk, there's a strong smell of electrical burning I've checked everything for heat or burn marks I've checked the osc fan the ballast still cool to touch the timers spot on the heater seems fine took it out anyway only things I've changed to is 275 w super lumens haven't smelt this before slightly concerned to say the least

    Try turning off super lumens & see what happens next....

    Subbed. I am also concerned about electricity overload, though have no indication of it.

    Thinking of getting a circuit breaker but need recommendations.

    I used a garage consumer unit when I rebuilt my grow room.... safe as houses now

    I'm not concerned about over loading new electrics and haven't got a tremendous deal running 450w heater 50w osc fan 250w hps dual spec maxi bright digital ballast I put curtains in there they reng of it maybe the Suns hitting the window reacting with the washing stuff and stinks maybe I've put the other half of the curtain outside in sun to see if it
    Gives off the same sort of smell lmao I also put mine on a ring main from consumer unit but haven't got around to installing it in the new room yet

    The room trips out so I presume if something like that was to happen wouldn't it just trip out?

    You could always install ground fault interrupter outlets in your groom if they make you feel little better. They can at least shut things down a lot faster than your typical circuit breaker can.

    Heat sinks can also give off an ozone smell when they're doing their job or over worked. I'm curious, did you ever extend the leads on your ballast?
