Default Leaving my drying bud with the bae for 10 days

    Hey guys,

So I've just chopped down my first plant, super exciting! 😄
I've asked my girlfriend to look after it while I'm away and to put it in glass jars once it's dry.

Only thing is she can't stand weed... 😱 is there any other way she can check if moisture levels are optimal other than pressing on the bud and seeing if it bounces back?
Would it be safe to just move it to jars after 2 days?

2 days is a bit early imo.. I'd leave it at least a week before putting into the jars, you don't want mould to form on your bud(s) buddy.

Thanks bro. Reason why I was gonna go with 2 days is I'm afraid of over drying it.

I sampled a couple of smaller buds before the chop and after 2 or 3 days they were already kinda crumbly and stiff. But then again I just left those buds on aluminum foil as opposed to hanging them. Don't know if it makes much of a difference?

The humidity levels inside the closet are around 44%.

Rather it be over dry than mouldy so hope it goes ok.
Depends how big your buds are tbh.you should be looking at 3-4 days mine go 4 normally and that is bang on the limit.they feel crusty on the outside but will be soft in the middle.make sure she opens the jars around 4 times a day an moves them about a bit.
