Still have white pistils on 2 of the plants and no sign of any amber trichs, ahhhhhh! It's coming up to 10 weeks!

Think I'll give them another few days to give the pistils time to brown then take the lot down at once, don't feel like doing a staggered harvest unless the results are worthwhile, eg you can get the bottom buds developed a bit more? (thought the stress from lobbing half the plant off would counteract any new growth?)

Fuck no. You can take the top branches and keep the bottom for another few days/week. If you have amber trich's though it'll be universal throughout the bud so even the little bud's will have the same amount of white to amber. If I do a staggered harvest it's usually one week (max 10 days) after the main buds are taken. You might end up with s bit more amber but not a huge variation. Instead of 40% amber 60% white trichs you might end up with 60% amber 40% white. Slight loss of potency vs a few more bowls. Pretty much of a muchness IMO.
