    Default Advise on lighting

Hi, I have a few lights and would like to know what the best combination would be for the grow space, Which is a 60cm x 60cm x 140cm tent. I have searched around a bit but I'm finding mixed results.

    Lights:
    1 x 150w hps - Dual spectrum
    1 x 300w cfl - Dual spectrum
2 x 20w ☰ 85w cfl - The "☰" character is on the box shown on the picture below. I'm not sure what it means so I'm not sure if these lights would help at all?

The 150w hps is 17,200 lumens and the 2 small cfls are 1200 lumens but I'm not sure what the 300w cfl is.

Ok, So the problem is the temperature, There's no way both the 150w hps and the 300w cfl lights can be in that space. There is 4" fan in there but still it wouldn't be enough.
So what I would like to know is what would be better?

The 150w hps Dual spectrum and the two small cfl lights,
    or
the 300w cfl Dual spectrum and the two small cfl lights?

What would be the benefits of either?

I haven't included a picture of the 300w cfl but it is quite big!

You can veg nicely under a 300w cfl
Then swap to the 150 hps for flower as the cfl wont give you the buddage that the hps will.
I wouldnt really bother with the little bulbs

Ah ok. What would be the benefit of using the cfl for veg instead of the hps? I understand the HPS will penetrate the leaves better but wouldn't that also be good for veg?

    Hey

More cost effective and barely any heat are 2 benefits I can think of ,You are correct about the hps being stronger though, all the best man

Ok that's cool. So they 150w hps alone is adequate in that space for flowering? Those 2 low cfls will have little to no effect?

    Thanks

I realise I'm being mr question but I like to know stuff!

    Thanks

As Beth Meg says the CFL will keep the nodes tighter together mate as I've found out in experience during veg, as bmeg says hps for the switch mate CFL won't reep as much goodness as hps during flower so I'd also advice to switch to hps during flower, I'd especially go with CFL if you haven't got a dual spec hps bulb for the vegetative stage also
