can i trim and take off fan leaves 4 days into flower ?

Hi guys can i prune my plants in flower? 1 st time grower so learning as I go. They have been in flower for 4 days now left it late but didn't think it was going g to be a massive problem but my fan leaves are now huge and blocking g alot of light.

Taking a few off is fine mate but don't strip them all off. I remove the bottom 1/3 and any small whispy branch that won't make the canopy

As Chewey said do not remove all the leaves as this is what the plant uses to produce food for the flowers, I usually wait till about the 2nd week of true flower as then the plants have stretched a bit, then remove the bottom 1/3, leaving the top 2/3

This will concentrate all the energy of the plant into growing nice long full, fat cola's rather than popcorn
