    Mines not exactly like that.

    I have two OS HDDs, one holds Linux and one Windows. The case has a switch and I select which one I want to boot into using it. The other HDD should be taken out of the circuit and be safe from any misadventure that leads to data loss.

    Believe it or not, even having the separation one Windows update nerfed the linux side and prevented me from booting into linux. One of the reasons I don't like Windows. Micro$haft doesn't play nicely with other people.
