    Question taking cuttings

    easy ppl ! when can i take cuts ? ive got 2 chronic plants and want to take cuts as soon as. cheers

    personally id wait until the plants growing nodes were alternating and no longer symetrical, like this -->
    this is a sure sign the plant has reached a sexual maturity and also the plant by that time will have enough growing tips to take clones from

    my nodes r like that m8 from the bottom up. only got a few thou.the plants are 7 inches tall with alot of leaves for its size.

    im new to all this but i read that you should take cuttings when u put them into flowering,

    sorry but that isnt the best of ideas, you really shoudn't take cuttings from a plant once you've put it into flower, this just stresses the plant
    you should take cuttings from a mother plant that is kept in a vegetative state solely for the purpose of providing cuttings
    you can take cuttings off a plant before you put it into flowering, but you should do this at least a week before inducing flowering as this will allow the plant to recover from the stress of being chopped up for cuttings
