Keeping a mother plant

hi ya all,

Great site, info on here is spot on, thanks to all you posters i have used it to:
Build a small grow room

prop some seeds
decide on a small hydro system (nft)
lights (hps 600)
extractor
sex the plants

i now have plants that are 2ft high and in second week of flower, they are looking good, i cant post a pic as the ballast from the light is messing with my camera ( and guess what? if i switch it off its really dark in there

)

any way i have a couple of questions. is there a sticky on here telling us how to keep a mother plant? i have looked but maybe its there and i cant see

and m cf readings keep rising is this because my plants are taking more water than food? i plan to replace water ph adjust and leave for 24 hrs then add nutes (ionic) is this correct?

I'm not 100% sure man but I think you can keep a non-auto in veg for pretty much an indefinate amount of time. Anyone know different?

what about a mother plant in soil, would you have to change soil every 4 weeks or so, or would you just feed em nutes?

if your CF/EC value is rising then yes your plants are taking in more water than food,
you should leave the water for 24+ hours then add your nutes then pH adjust , if you do it the way you suggest the nutes will change the pH balance then you would have to re-adjust pH again
