    Struggling with temps , whats the score with putting an aircon unit in the tent is there any downsides to this?

    Yes thy blow hot air out so you have to vent that out the room , not just the tent but the room the tents in ?

    And that hot air will be full of smell too, which will need filtering.

    Another downside is that it does take a lot of space.
    Them portable aircon units are not the best invention ever.

    Use the air con unit outside the tent lettin the intake fan pull the air into the tent 😊

    been thinking this with my ac unit it don't ac well these days still a great air mover, sealed the intake and stuck as exhaust hose on. basically turned it into a extractor early grow waiting on 4" to turn up. may reuse it but connect the CF on the end and use 4" for intake only issue is the ac unit (running on fan only) too strong for the CF unit? i know it sucks well enough.
    May test this theory over the weekend and zip me up in tent with a lemongrass incense stick burning see if that makes it into the bedroom.

    Anyone else had any luck with aircon units in the groom? I've got about £200/300 here to buy a mobile aircon unit so I can drop my temps slightly in this major heat until I can afford a opticlimate or similar

    Anyone any recommendations?
