    Default Hi THC Talk

Everything I grow promptly dies; though I love plants of all kinds, maybe I love them to death. The only thing I can keep alive are Orchids.
Anyways, through googling of an interest in having seeds I have found this forum, I've had a look around and have seen some really nice advice and friendly community so I join. Hello :3

I am interested in how things are cultivated and the best way to cultivate things; I am not cultivating anything currently or doing any other naughty things.
I am interested in northern force, and kritical + seeds; I do wonder how best to cultivate these things, though I am not cultivating them, the subject matter is interesting.

I have a small cupboard, and I'm thinking of setting it up into a nice tiny environment for growing some plants, probably orchids; I think it would be nice to be able to have an environment I can control by myself. I'm here lurking for advice, and information on this very subject.

I am genuinely not cultivating anything right now. I haven't set anything up yet; that's why I'm here :3 Complete newbie.

    Thanks for the welcome;

Light I think is my main issue. I'm ignorant, super ignorant of what I need; so I've been doing a lot of reading.
I've decided I'll be starting off with soil, I have a nice space in an inbuilt cupboard, and pleanty of materials to make myself a little tent of sorts, humidity in my room is high anyway, as I've always kept orchids and amphibians in here.

I've been looking at probably getting CFL bulbs, from the information I've looked at they seem the right kind for me, low running cost (impact on bill) and I have a small space, I'm only going to be thinking about 3 plants max anyways.

So yeah, looking at a few CFLs,
    1 x cupboard,
    plastic sheet/tent for humidity
    soil.

I need to educate myself about nutrients, and method; I know weeds (dandelions, and nettles) are easy to grow so they should be very forgiving of any mistakes I make.

Hi Orchid lady. I can confirm that cannabis plants are very forgiving. At least for me anyway

I hope I get lucky with my first few, because it's going to be one of those situations where I pop a seed in the soil and hope for the best.
I'm dry as all hell right now, not a nug to my name and not even going to explore getting anyone I know to hook me up, had enough of having inconsistent quality and the odd bag of stems and dirt. If I can last a few more months, and get my own stuff sorted; consistent supply, and only myself to blame if I get poor quality.

Hi Orchid, welcome to the forum

The cupboard size that you have will dictate many factors of your grow, including how many plants you can really grow well... what size are we talking about?

    Cool

Check out this wellpar 300W LED over on Ebay, It is much better and last longer than CFL's, and cost you about the same as a 250W CFL. My first Amniesa Auto just now breaking ground.
