Post Third time lucky ?? Help from Auto growers please

    Hi all,
if there was a medal for turnin plants back to veggin, I'd win it.

After 2 disasters, I've decided to grow an auto, NYCity Diesel x lowrider no.2 seed to bud 9 weeks, optimistic.
I need some advice on one or 2 points, so a bit of background info to help.

plant at 26 days from poppin up, startin to show preflowers.

She is in a homemade DWC/ bubbler setup, with an external res with recirc pump, air stone in each bucket. light cycle 18/6
At the moment, she is under a 150w MH lamp. with cool tube, so I can get nice an close (also 150w HPS available)
Nutes : vitalink hydro max grow a+b , root stim, silicon max and fulvic. Current Ec is 1.2 with starting EC of 0.1 PH is at 5.8 I think she looks OK/happy.

What I really need to know is: When should I change from grow nutes to bloom nutes ?and should I go for the same EC straight away ? When to change light from MH to HPS ?
    Due a res change today.
Lookin forward to some great advice.

Should probably keep those grow nutes going till late flower. At least that has been working well for me in coco and i use the same nutes I used in Hydro.

Keep as you are till it stops stretching an you have proper fluffy
Heads on it.the light won't really matter but I'd up it to 21hrs on
An 3 off to get the most from your plant.20/4 is the norm for autos
But if your on a low wattage its best to give it an extra hr : )

but the pH keeps dropping, fresh feed solution in at 5.8 pH but over 48 hours pH dropping to 5.3. She is drinking and the EC is dropping by 0.1 every 24 -36 hours. I've had a look at the roots and they appear ok white in color, but there is what appears to be some sort of brown slime on them see pic.

Any suggestions from my learned friends as to what this could be ??
Is there an additive which would help ?
Would it pay to remove plant, wash off the cack from the roots, clean out/sterilize the DWC and then put back with a fresh batch of feed solution. Keeping the plant in a spare bucket with just pH'd water till I sort out the problem ?

    Hi Chibbs,
the tube is the water level indicator up the outside of the bucket, didn't think this would cause a problem. Interesting thought cheers.
