    Default Hydro coco poundland nutrients.

    Hi All,

Was wondering if anyone could give some advice on this nutrient bundle that can be purchased from Poundland "Hydro Coco for Soil and Coco Coir". See below NPK values.

    GROW
    10-5-4

    BLOOM
    5-4-9

    PK BOOST
    13-14

Bottle says to use 2 - 2.5ml per 1 litre of water.

Have heard that others have had successful results from these nutrients.

If anyone can advise a feeding schedule for soil or coco coir I would be grateful.

    Thanks in advance!

Well, I have been using them for around a month. I am going by this feeding schedule but just wondered if anyone had a different view?

IIRC MC has used them, and the was a bit heavy on the Nitrogen. MC will confirm.

They are not organic, either. So, only foliar spray if you are growing organically.

Oh really? It says it is suitable for soil and Coco Coir though?

But the bottles do not say organic. Yes, you can use non-organic nutes in soil, but they will eventually harm or kill the micro-herd.

Once the micro-herd is dead, you're left with an inert medium - just like coir, but a heavier version that doesn't drain as well as coir. Plus, you'll have to start looking into altering pH values, something you don't have to do with organic growing.

Thanks for this. I read the back of the bottle has organic micro nutrients as well. I have read some of the links, looks like a lot of people are having great results with this stuff. I have been using it for a month now and it is working for me, nothing seems to be dieing and my plants are healthier than ever.
