Interior Of Colas Do Not Want to Dry

I keep close track of humidity while curing in jars with digital gauges. So when the humidity stabilizes at about 65, I stop burping...

Problem is that the interior of the larger cola buds are still damp/green .

It does not make sense to me to continue to burp letting the rh drop down below a desired 60 or so as it just continues to drop.

What will cause or when will the inside of the larger buds to dry ? Will just letting them sit in the jar at 65 rh ever let the inside of the larger buds dry out ?

Break up as in cut em down into smaller buds, or just sort of break them open a bit ?

These are in a half gallon jar. So we can not cure this size buds all the way through ?

Cut them up into smaller buds mate, if they are too large to dry properly then they will attract mould...
