Hi everyone, hope you're all having a great summer :-)
I've got a problem with my gurilla garden, my plants have run out of nitrogen! Doh!
to be fair this is my fault, I used jacks magic (compost) I only added worm castings and bat guano (high in p) double doh! But other than my girls having mostly bright yellow leaves they look amazing :-) and that high in p bat guano will be perfect for flower :-)
What's happening is this, as my girls produce new leaves they're a nice green colour, but as newer leaves are produced the old ones turn yellow - 90% of the leaves are yellow
I've given them a folier feed (which should help) but they need a boost and (possibly) a top dressing to see them through to harvest (I only visit them every 2 weeks) - they look amazing though ! :-)
So I thought I'd mix up a compost tea :
2 gallon bucket (1 liter per plant)
Air pump and air stone
8 liters fresh water
1/2 cup compost
1/2 cup mega worm (plagron)
1/2 cup bat guano (plagron)
50ml liquid sea weed (doff)
epsom salts (not sure how much 1 table spoon?)
Black strap molasses (not sure how much 1 table spoon?)
Leave it bubbling for 24 hours and make sure it smells 'nice' and not rotten before use, strain it through muslin. What's left after I've brewed the tea will be top dressed?
I'll spray and water a total of 1 liter per plant now and again in two weeks (beginning of september) which should keep them going till harvest ?
Any feed back would be a great help, my girls are looking good, just starved of nitrogen!
Help!
