    If you do get some kind of guidance how to use the bloody thing post up a guide here. The amount of threads I have found where no one knows how, would indicate that there is a need for a guide.

    Shamelessly lifted from another forum....

    Easiest way is to press the left button (set) first to pick the setting required ; 18/6 12/12 or 24/0 then press the right hand button to start the ballast....however as you have probably found, this means you can only do this at the time you wish the timer to be set for as it has no realtime clock!
    You can set the delay before it starts however....

    Scrap the timer if you can mate jus get a plug in one and set the ballast to always on if possible.

    With no realtime time reading it is virtually impossible to tell how accurate the timer is. If my plug in timer is slipping on time at least I can look at it and tell it is.
