I am a single retired construction electrician of mostly coal fired power plants. I live in Colorado Springs. I have smoked cannabis since I was 25 years old. I grow 6 commercially bought clones, each year, in a 6x8 foot greenhouse. I buy clones near the end of winter and keep them in a 5x10 foot growing tent with cfl lights, until May, when I plant them, in ground, in my green house. I usually harvest in the last week of September or so,..... although this year, my buds are weeks early and I just took some small lower branch buds that are showing signs of being ready and quick dried them in the microwave....
My main purpose to growing, has to do with,..... inexpensive to grow and very little attention to the plants needed compared to inside growing. I can easily leave them for a week while being out of town. I have a constant day and night ventilation fans and automatically water mist for 4 hours at the hottest times of the day, like during the recent 90 degree weather we had in July.....
This one time a year grow gives me all that I need for the year ahead.....I like the sun light fed buds and other than some bone meal and blood meal placed in the soil upon planting and twice more in June and July, I add nothing but water......that I blast the underside of the leaves with to control or eliminate possible spider mites that like to try to invade along hot spots at the edges of the clear sides of the greenhouse....
This years grow happens to be the best looking that I have ever had. It has a lot to do with topping the plants once, upon greenhouse planting for my first time. The branches are spread out to the center of the little green house, obtaining much more sunlight and many colas.......
