    Default T5 lighting need help

    Hey i was about to buy LED grow lights for my new grow but have been advised against it as the height i have (60cm) is to low apparently and will burn the plants......

    I was going with LED as they are the cheapest to run and i need to keep electricity as low as possible...

    I am now going with a T5 setup and need to know if i get 4 foot 4 c/w tubes T5 light setup and only have two 54w bulbs in instead of four bulbs will i still be wasting the same amount as electricity as i would with four bulbs in? Will the two empty slots still be drawing and wasting electricity?

    I was going to get one that was 2 foot long with four slots but you can only get 28w bulbs for them antbody have an idea?

    Well I have been vegging with an led panel and works great!!!

    I paid £70 for mine and it's a 50w but this 40w is well worth the price!!!

    Would that light even be any good for growing mate theres not even Red or Blue spectrum??
