    I think these are a little ambiguous.

    For example, If I called Oxy a sheep shagger, apart from being true, it is done with humour. However, another Welsh person may see that as an insult.

    And as for Inappropriate post / Language, I think the C word shouldn't be allowed. There are women on here. IIRC it was even in a sponsor thread which was run by a woman.

    A humourous post in a serious subject thread could be seen as inappropriate.

    I'm a little git for swearing. Need to keep a lid on it. What is a swear word though? Crap? Bugger? Need definition on the bad language. Is it more about the context that it's used? I'm over 18 on an over 18 board. Surely it's the context and not the words which matter?

    Spot on Funky, it's about context & appropriateness. You could tell me to fuck off in a banter thread & I wouldn't bat an eyelid.... someone told Inky to fuck off via PM the other day & I banned them...

    I use all words, but do try not to use the c word where women are about (excluding the wife) but for some reason, the c word is not liked by (mainly) women.

    I was/am forever being told off for being inappropriate.
