    Default What material is best to use for LST? First time grower🍁

    Just wondering what materials is best for LST as I have used fishing line as its thin and won't make shadows, just taped it to side of pot and pulled down branches ...pretty impressed actually , is this a gd way to do it? First time grower thanks guys!

    Lots of folks like to use simple cheap string or twine. So when they are done with the grow they don't have the pain of having to untangle the net. Cut it down and toss in the bin. Simple to redo next time.

    Yeah this fishing line is doing amazing and I'll be easy enough to snip with scissors , how long do u train it for? The whole grow or just a week or so?

    yea that will do mate or string. you will usually do it throughout the veg stage getting it the way you want it ready for flower.

    Plastic yoyos. They can hang on the branches & the weight of the yoyo bends the tops down nicely. They're easy to change/adjust without messing about tying knots in string or having to drill holes in pots.

    If any branches resist, then i feed a yoyo through the hole in a 1kg body buildng weight & use that as an anchor

    Tesco garden wire or pipe cleaners, both only £1, the tesco stuff is really good because it's coated in rubber and doesn't really put any stress on the branches.
    Sometimes the pipe cleaners cut through imo
