    Default Hard water

    Starting my first grow soon. The water here is hard or very hard. How have people found this affects their plants and yields? I cant afford to buy an RO filter at the moment so I'll have to use what comes out the tap. Any advice appreciated thanks.

    Mines hard as fook. Has always been Ec 0.8 but has dropped to 0.6 now.

    Never had any issues at all

    My tap water sits at an EC of 0.5, what is your waters EC?

    Hard water can be managed, down South our water is hectically hard. Using soil for my grow I have simply used the tap water and my plants seem ok so far. Think there have been problems with BioBizz soils, there is a thread here on THC about it. I used Jacks Magic soil and so far so good.

    My ec background is the higher end of 0.8 and ph of 7.6 and was fine with canna Aqua but I would be thinking hard about other options for soil, it's time to start collecting rain soon here in the uk lol, good luck
