Thread: Low stress training?

    Default Low stress training?

    Im just new to this and need to know if im going about this the wrong way or not, plus these are autos so I dont want to play with them too much?
    Any advice would be great!

    when i lst my autos i dont bend main stem over like you have i let it grow a bit and the bend the lateral branches.

    If you tie em down this way, id make sure you use a anchor.... Tie a holddown at the base of the plant opposite of the LST so the plant doesn't start pulling out the ground. It wont make a big difference now but in 6 weeks it will.

    An anchor? Sorry pretty much new at this.... will I just untie her let her straighten up,tie fans down then top her at 3rd node? I dont really know what the third node is sorry.
    More help would be greatly appreciated��

    This is what skunky means by anchoring the main stem down, if you dont do this and carry on lsting it the way you are the plant will eventually rip itself out exposing all the roots....not good! Just tie a pipe cleaner (in my case a hoody lace) or something soft but firm right at the bottom of the main stem just as I did^
    Lsting the way you are is great if you have limited space but I wouldn't recommend it personally,
    If you have good room and not too restricted,
    I'd let it grow upwards, top it then lst the lateral branches outward as skunky has said,
    imo and experiance you'll get better results that way unless you prove me wrong!

    Ahh brilliant thanks, I have the height 8x6x2 walk cupboard, I released the ties and its spiraling and very bushy compaired to 2days ago,. I think ill anchor next grow with jack herer cause ill have 4 on instead of just 2and im learning more each conversation on here am I best to start topping at the minute or wait a couple of weeks?

    Shes well due a good top or two... and yes that is the ancor I was talking about. Topping will encourage lateral growth also while she heals from the cut so its good all around.
