I suggested the NFT GT205 as it is a small system and tank so you could get it through the small door..

So you hand watered your plants before??

Maybe a walk to B&Q get a couple of plastic storage containers to place your pot's in ..

I loft grow and don't have a problem with water heat..

Like BA says all you throw away is roots..
Rewash pebbles if you go down that root..
The above is just opinion..My opinion is law in my world..

Aye I hand watered as they were in soil and I found the wilma - tho a great kit, seemed to leave dry areas of the soil ( when I opened the airpots there was a massive root ball where the dripper etc was and nothing the other sides so I just used a hose pipe and did it by hand.
The door is actually bigger than I remembered. with the ladder down at its smallest point its 65x50 but I can make it larger by putting the ladder straight once I am up... and going diagonal I might be able to fit more than I expected.

Valve man has got 2 gt205's..

i used to hand water my soil back in the day but went hydro and have a timer so no having to be home to water them..

Maybe a wilma system with pebbles and more dripper lines as you know the system..

Or a four pod dwc system..or bubbler system the choice is yours..so many out there..

Happy Roken, I ran my wilmas inc hydro in various configs inc hydro/dwc/dripper combines with airpots etc but the isue is getting it through the roof ladder space HOWEVER!
I think I am decided on.....
    2 NFT GT604's
    tri-meter style ph/ec/temp
    2 fishtank heaters
DJ light truss hanger on tripods as I cant screw into the ceiling...
    Rhino 6" temp controlled RKV
    Rhino pro 150x600
2x 600w lights ( tempted to go parabolic but have never tried these - thoughts? )
    ionic grow/bloom/liquid oxygen/silicon
    root balistic

    Thoughts, criticisms VERY welcome

    Hi British Green,
The NFT's I would buy ( there only £80 each ) and tbh it saves a lot of messing about... unless I am missing something easy to do?
The fan and filter I would need to buy unless I reclaim my old ones however that would mean admitting I was doing it again, which I dont want to do tbh - loose lips and all that.
    The lights, I have about 6 600w's
The lighting rail however I did contemplate building a wooden frame, a bit like one of the joiners cutting things but on a larger scale? Pretty sure it would be ok heat/fire wise? I have a fire alarm and extinguisher in the area as a precaution.
I also worried the fan might not be strong enough as its a large grow area ( 4.9mx5m floor but sloping roof and a ladder + hatch folds into it ) however only a couple lights so should be ok I think? I don't want to go mental and have no humidity and I quite like the ability of temp control.
