Default how to test a HPS lamp output

    Hello,
I was wondering how my lamps are doing after a couple of rounds
and i was sure like to mesure their output to decide if they can go for another round

what is the easiest way to do that?
I was wondering if i can use a phone app since it has a light sensor
    what do you think?

    Regards,
    Me

Use a lux/light meter to test light and compare it with a new bulb. Don't know if a phone could be that accurate but ya never know these days.

As joker said. I change after 2 grows some after just one. After all a bulb is less than £30 I save my used bulbs in case of failure and run them on the super lumen settings if used.

I change my veg bulbs after 2 rounds of vegging 3-6 months every round of flowering regardless, other than that I would just use the lux meter like suggested above!
    Best wishes

I use to change the bulbs once every year no questions asked . Whats 30$ really . Youll lose ten times that amount if you yave a faulty bulb .
