    Default sodium or led

    I want to grow about six plants and someone said led light. is led better?

    Hi mate ... I used to grow led but now will only do hps or mixed lighting .... led is good for lower leccy consumption ... Lower heat and nice tight nugs .... But I find I run into alot of deficiencies with led and the yield ain't as good as hps ... hope this helps ...

    I wouldn't say so most people when they start think that led is better because of the electricity saving. It is not true hps is alot better than led for many different reasons. Unless your buying a quality one such as the budmaster. Most Leds with the white metal casing are Chinese and the Leds start to die after a while. If a hps blows you can go and get a new one without a problem. Also hps has better canopy penetration and if you get a digital ballest there is no noise. Them Leds are louder than expected I'v only had a Chinese one though also you can replace the fans but this is too much hassle. Rant of the day over

    Get yourself a lumatek 600w hps it's a brilliant piece of equipment

    400w MH Bulb for veg plus 600w HPS bulb for flower could even go for 600w in veg when they few weeks in like
