    Default Thermostatic Heater controller

So Ive been doing a bit of electrical diy this afternoon folks..Decided to build a stand alone thermostatic heater controller.

This is the Elitech USTC-1000 which has a built in relay capable of handling 10 amps.

    Costs

Elitech USTC-1000..Ebay seller Elitech-uk was £9.54 looks like its gone up to £10.99 now.

Electrical enclosure box ip56 rated £ 4.00 from my local electrical store CEF.

Miscellaneous...4 meters 3 core cable, single socket, gland, plug £5.50 local hardware shop.

    Total cost £19

Im not going to go into the construction here, it really is very easy, took an hour to complete the job..Just note if your heater is over 2kw you will need an additional relay which you can get from maplins...

If you wish to add a relay and or wire the cooling circuit follow the wiring diagram bellow....

    Finished Product

    Regards BL

That looks bang tidy mate. Is the black cable on top of the box the sensor? And is that sensor coming with the controller or you need to order it separately?
