gnatflys are much slower under Red Light (bloom)
the title says it all ... i've discovered that if do you enjoy manually hand-clapping your gnatflies into gnatfly heaven, that they are much easier to squish if you have set your lighting to a predominantly RED-band.
I use a led MarsHydro Reflector, and have noticed that gnatflies seem to suffer a form of NightBlindness, and are easily squished ... and even when they're not flying around you can still squish them with near 100% effectiveness before they even sense a threat.
Vegetation-Grow (blue setting) sees their reaction times majorly speed up - they become much more agile and perceptive, and will see you coming from afar.
Blue = Almost impossible to catch
Red = Ded
