Default It's the bit in between I don't get (day 1 to full power veg)

Starting my first grow. I have been studying this forum for weeks and the only bit I am still unclear about is this.

My 8/9 little seed have sprouted and their leaves have just emerged from their little Root Riot pots....What now? pot into small pots? I have 3 x 600w HID lamps but when do they go under them? Do I need another light and if so which one and how high do I hang it. How long before full throttle 600w Dual spectrum HPS veg starts?

I have read the sticky's but am still unsure.

    8/9 plant grow.

    Many Thanks

    What is 8/9 grow?

What medium are you planning on growing in? What kind of seeds are they, Auto or photo-period seeds?

Auto get them into their final pot.
Photo-period you can put them into smaller pots and then re-pot as they develop.

Auto's have a very limited veg period, changing pots does not allow for enough time to recover if there is stress to the plant. Photo-period you will determine when the flowering starts.

8\9 seeds?.. yes you can use hps if you know what you're doing. cfl would be the better option though. Show us pics of your set up & we'll be able to help better

Sorry for the lack of information.

Will be growing feminized photo-period Blue Dream in soil (no added nutrients) 8 or 9 plants.

    Will be growing SCROG.

My room is 8' x 8' x 6' high. My SCROG area will be 7' x 4' for 8 plants. I will probably screen the scrog area in from the 2' walkways either side.

Start them in one litre then transfer to final pots.

Have you thought how you will water the pots once a scrog is in place?
Not an easy task I tell ye.

    Welcome to the forum fella

    Thanks Bethmeg
I will have a 2' walkway each side of the scrog.

What size final pot would you recommend, the knobbly air root trim ones.
