Ok i am pretty surprised some growers canna take viable cuttings especially when they can grow tremendous yielding plants so iv'e done a little step by step guide.
It's a piece of piss as easy as breathing and and out.

Step 1: Soak your preferred medium in tap water - no need to ph it.
Step 2: Gentlty squeeze excess water from medium.
Step 3: Get a decent branch which will be your chosen cutting.
Step 4: I use a kebab stake to make hole in centre of my medium.
Step 5: Use a sharp clean knife-very unlike the one i used, lol.
Step 6: Chop off a branch diagonally between internodes - it doesn't really matter where from tbh and place it into the cutting gel - i use clonex..

Step 7: Place the cutting into the medium and firmly offer up and tamp down around the sten of the branch - i also gently squeeze the medium whilst i am doing this, but i am a weirdo.
Step 8: Once done place cuttings into a sandwich bag and blow air into the bag to inflate before you close last bit of bag.
Step 9: Place on top of your sky/virgin box until they have rooted - usually takes about a week to 10 days.

FOOTNOTE ENSURE YOU OPEN THE BAG SLIGHTLY EACH DAY TO EXCHANGE THE AIR AND ENSURE THE MEDIUM DOES NOT DRY OUT BUT IS KEPT MOIST - IF LOOKING A LITTLE DRY JUST MIST THEM WITH SPRAYER.

    Thats it.

    Just one thing to add...

Decant a little cutting gel into a small container & throw away after use rather than dipping the clones in the jar...

I used to do that MC but tbh i never have any issues with my contaminated pot of clonex, i'll show the roots as and when they have rooted for the ungifted at taking cuts.
Years ago i used to take hundreds of cuts every week for a grower mate for his personal took me a good 2 hours and £300 better off after each session, lol
He got caught i believe thats what greed does to a man.

    Simple.

Easiest I've ever done was leave in a propagator outside in summer in the shade. Just a spray of water now and again.

For me the fiddly bit with cuttings is not rooting, it's the hardening off. I get a bit impatient
