    Thanks Miss,

Mines runs i'd say 20% faster on 15v and will only run one way on 15v

Was just a wee bit worried about it burning out but all seems fine.
it's only until i get a longer 12v adapter anyhow.

I've never had one overheat or fail, but that's no guarantee of anything.
the more components your running the more volts you need, if you have 2 12v fans then you need 24v to run them at full whack in a series circuit as it loses volts at each component it passes through, if you put them in a parallel circuit then 12v would get you 12v on each fan but you would need more amps as it loses half it's amps instead at each component.
But increasing amps is far more dangerous than increasing voltage. Current kills, as my college teacher kept saying.

So i dont think you'll be seeing any overheats for a while unless your amps are high in which case it would've probably already happened or you'd have at least smelt it melting a bit

Yep, thanks for the guide. I have wired two fans into a terminal connector. I've got the +ve/-ve from both fans going into the same pins on the connector and then +ve/-ve from the power plug into the other side. Is this parallel or series?! It works just fine but as I've just read, I've probably dropped the voltage to each fan doing it this way as the adapter is 12v.

    Hi there,

Im totally new to this. Pre first grow building my first space bucket.

The bit with the Molex's has me confused.

The first photo under STEP 2 shows a red and green cable going into Molex 1

The second photo under STEP 2 looks like you put the black charger cables into Molex 1 on the opposite sides.

However in the third photo under STEP 2 looks like you didn't plug the charger into Molex 1 at all and instead plugged it into Molex 2 what Molex 1 plugs into.

Can anyone shed any light on this please.

Lastly, thanks very much for this guide. Very helpful

ahhhhhhh hang on. Are you basically jamming one into the other by fitting Molex 1 and 2 together. So all as Molex 2 actually does is secures Molex 1's connections from the PSU?

Am I missing something? I'm baked so amy apologies if this is dumb.

Wouldn't it be easier to just cut all the plugs off i.e Molex and 3 pin and put all the wires into some terminal block of the required amps? Job done.
