    Default LUX Meter For Judging When To Change The Bulb

    Okay, so I run 2 x 1000w Lumatek Digi Dimmable with Dominator XXXL Cooled Hoods.

    I am weighing up changing the bulbs and starting fresh, and have purchased a LUX meter to check the light degradation.

    LEFT SHADE @ 1000w setting - 1 foot away from the light in the centre. 762 (x100) LUX

    RIGHT SHADE @ 600w setting - 1 foot away from the light in the centre. 373 (x100) LUX


    Do I need new bulbs or what ?

    Different bulbs have different outputs... you need to say what bulbs you are using....
