    Default White Powdery Mildew

Just noticed a small amount of this on my leaves. I have wiped off but not sure if theres a cure for this whilst it's in the very early stages. I'm gonna be gutted if this spreads like wildfire, up to this the plant was doing so well. Help!

Mix some milk with water 60:40 and give your plants a spray.

You will need to clean your ventilation ducts and filters too as spores will be present, and the grow space too. A bit of dish washing liquid in warm water will work on the surfaces. The spores come from someplace, try and find that source or they will return.

Thanks again. You've been a life saver yet again. I cleaned the whole grow space before starting with a disinfectant but I left a carpet in there which i'm guessing could be the culprit.

Yip pretty often that is the cause but not always. If you walking outside and brush against a plant that has powder mildew the spores will cling to your clothes and can get into your grow space that way. We used to make our staff change before they came into the main propagation rooms. Not quiet sterile like for some high tech or medical stuff, but good enough to prevent most bad things from being introduced to the new cultivars.

Sorry my bad it is the water 60 and milk 40. If you wish you can add a small (tiny) drop of dish washing liquid as a wetting agent. But it is not essential.

You can go as low as 10 milk to 90 water, but 60:40 is what I used on the vines all the time.

    Once should be enough.
