Excellent choice my man I've read it a couple times, I've just started his new book teaming with fungi! And teaming With nutrients is a great read.
I think my favourite has to be seaweed and plant growth by dr senn.
Best wishes on your journey it gets fun trust me.

Nature already has them, or contains the raw materials for their creation, Beyond your basic NPK you've got all your other other minor/micro nutrients like iron, copper, calcium, magnesium ect, but its really the microbial soil processes and the plants own systems that change this into all the weird enzymey amino acidy hormoney weirdness that bottles of nutes try to replicate and enhance, esp in the case of inert mediums like hydro and coco, where these microbial processes are largely absent and have to be recreated artificially in some way.

Google, Shawns Atlantean , Hotshot . If you decide to use them , if indoors ,use 1/4 strenght . 1/2 is too much .

Get original blend and premium seaweed . And rock powder .
