    Default timer problems!!!

Anyone else have constant problems with their timers, mine decides when it wants to work and then will randomly stop working, the fucking thing is pissing me off its lucky it hasn't been smashed to pieces, im sick of coming home to find the lights are still on when they shouldn't be, anyone know how to get around this to ensure it always works?

May I enquire as to which timer you are using. I have tried some digital ones and they have all be tossed out. In the end I went with a manual timer that was rated to 13A.

Had the exact same shit as you did.

Yeh ive been using the mech ones and for the CFL light no ballasts involved, i might try them maplin ones then. Annoying when you get half way through a grow and everything is going ok then something as simple as a timer fucks you about aahhhhh!!!

Get yourself a plug and grow timer. There built with a heavy duty 22amp contactor and designed to be used with grow lights. Lumii also do one similar. Mine hasn't missed a beat in years. You can pick one up online for roughly £10
