Default lighting spectrum & when you change

    high folks ,
i'm sort of new to this & was just wondering what others use & when spectrum wise for lamps .this grow i have at the moment was started under a 160w clf veg spec lamp ,
once the plants got going (3/4 weeks) i changed the lamp to a 600w opti blue MH ran at 250w , after another 3 weeks or so i replanted them into their 15ltr pots with my homemade air domes (oxygen injected by aquarium pump) in the bottom of the pots & put into a 1.2 mtr tent & the light still on 600W SL with 2 veg spec cfl's at 175w one either side of the tent , after 2 weeks of 12/12 hr flowering lighting i changed over the metal halide opti blue to a high par 600w flowering lamp , this is were i'm interested in what others do as i was going to put in a dual spec 600w for a couple of weeks before putting in the 600w red spec hps but though that with the 2 175w cfl's on veg spec that it would still be ok to go straight for the red spec hps . basicaly i'm running just under 1000w in a 1.2 mtr tent & temps are not an issue especially at this time of year . temps usually 26/28 degrees lights off 20 d as i have a small electric oil radiator sitting set for 20 degrees . i have 2 4" input fans 1 running 12/12 & the other on a temp control to come on when temps get to 28 ish . my output of air & circulation is running through a 6" fan , there is also a 16" fan inside the tent too. what do the experts think lighting wise when do you change the spec of your lamps ?

I just use a dual spectrum 600w light.

This grow I used a 125w CFL for 3 days then they went under the 400w hps and back upto 600w recently.

    It's a 2 month veg around 40 days I switched to 600w.

Im also 24hours schedule but now I'm getting closer to flip I've swapped to 18/6

Guess I'm too lazy for bulb switching.

i've never ran 24 hrs before ,, my thoughts on that are that no matter what everything needs a wee rest & a sleep , waking up refreshed & ready to grow again , happy & healthy
