    I'd give the Omega a wide bearth,,, but that is only due to personal experience of one ballast....

    (Why is Omega even on the list :P )

    Lumi & Lumatek are good, as are Sunmaster at a slightly lower pricepoint, can't speak for apoll or quantum.

    Others have had an OK time with the Omega... but mine lasted less than 12 hours

    I've never went near their digitals, but after observing several outright fails, 1 fire and 1 weird explosion/discharge i'd never have their products in my home again.

    I have a lummi and a Omega pro which both run quite hot i suppose.. I miss my trusty 1000w Lumantek though, top bit of kit imo, silent and cool to touch
