Advice needed on 6 pot diy rdwc system

I use the same brand pump but a different design tbh, as far as the output your good i would of gone for that or higher, only other thing I done different on mine really is 50 mm returns. And I would have three returns to the main res

Havent got much done the last few days
I wasnt keen on using the pump due to the size of the thing
So i ordered a 25mm hosetail connector for my hailea 8890 that i had lying about
Arrived today



The 25mm pipe that im using connects to my spray bars fits perfectly

Ive also ordered the 4 way 40mm floplast connectors so i can have 3 returns to the res like you recomended
They should arrive tommorow so hopfully i can get it all up and running this weekend

Well ive had a load going on over the last few weeks so didnt get much done
But i got it all plumbed in today with no leaks on the 3rd attempt

Ive got 5 5ml holes in each pot
There is definatly a drop in flow on the end 2 pots so and ideas on the best way to even the flow ?

I did make a video but couldnt upload it as it was 110mb

try blocking one of the holes in the first 2 res's, this should increase the flow at the end.
I would cap both of the ends of the spray bars rather than having them joined. if you look at the end you have a loop which doesn't circulate, so it's a dead leg which I would imagine to be a breeding ground for nastiness.

I you want even pressure to each pots spray bars, or just an improvement on whats there, you would have to take the spray bar from the pump to the middle totes first, you could Tee off from there, and the pressure loss would be less, as they would only be going thru 2 pots (per side) instead of 4.
Does this make sense? im a bit stoned.

You could also tape up one hole int the spray bar -per tote , and that would keep the pressure up in the rest, and also be taking less from the res which would help the water balance.
