Default General Drying Questions + Cardboard Box Drying

    Hello All,

    1. The plant is just about ready to be harvested and with limited space, had a few drying questions. Initially was thinking about going about it with the cardboard box method, and if so, was curious if its necessary to actually attach a fan to the cardboard box, or instead create a bunch of decent size holes around the sides so that air can move, and then have a fan running on low in the room to circulate air? In this scenario, would use the "closet" style method for the cardboard box and then leave the front flaps/doors open.

1a. There was a video where the guy attached a small fan to the box and then closed it up completely... seemed that way would dry it out way too quickly?

    2. Was thinking about drying in an unused bathroom, but it doesn't have any windows. If put in the shower with the shower door open and have a fan running to keep air moving, would that work? With this method, still debating whether to hang on clothes drying rack or the cardboard box method.

Thanks in advance for your opinions!

Iv done the cardboard box method.

I pierced holes in the box threaded string and hung from those.

never used any fans, just opening the box a few times a day to refresh the air did the job.

@M_C - Unfortunately no, since its an outdoor balcony grow.

@Bethmeg - you never used a fan in the room AND kept the box closed the entire time? I would think, at least in the beginning, the humidity it would create would be an issue...

What works in the UK may not be transferable to all countries sadly.

Yes no fans or anything just in a box in my bedroom with the window open.

It wasnt a smelly strain so I wasnt worried about smell.

Hung some in my wardrobe too once, just opening the doors a few times a day.
