    Default Seedling leaf discolouration

Hi, I wonder if anyone would be kind enough to give some advice regarding leaf discolouration on seedlings. I am mostly inexperienced growing skunk-or any plant... The seedlings are about 3 weeks into grow but don't look very healthy with browning of leaves and noticeable wilting. I'm using a heated propogator with avg temp 70-80f on 18/6 cycle. Propogator lid has been removed for most of lights on and put back on for the dark cycle as thought it would have helped during the lower ambient temperature in the evenings, possibly a mistake.. should I have used the dome at all after germination? Then there is the grow light.. I've been using a Mars Hydro 48 led approx 20" from top of plants. It seemed to work great at first but now I'm wondering if the light intensity has been to great for seedlings. The soil is a mix of seedling starter, perlite and a small amount of worm castings. Watering generally when the top soil has began to dry with bottled water PH around 6 to 6.3 and no nutrients. I have attached photos and would be very grateful if experienced growers can advise, heat stress, the led light, under/over water, nutrient deficiency etc. Thanks all, thctalk members. Phil.

And don't use Bottled water either.. Cal/Mag/ & Pottasium are not available under 6.5. Use tap water for a safer option..

Thanks mate. Maybe a slightly larger pot size? Will re-pot them, fresh soil can only be good. I've been looking to acknowledge your help with a thanks but can't seem to find the icon for that. Sorry, im a new member but will get the hang of it.

I'm doing six, different types but all fem. I've just replaced the mars led with a 135w CFL just in case the light wasn't helping. Lumens seemed OTT for seedlings but if that was the case they wouldn't have stretched too much for light (I think, but what do I know.. :-)). I know It's a learning curve/experience but would be a shame to lose all of them but with foresight it was rather foolish of me to germinate so many on first attempt. Thanks ☺

Thanks. I wasnt aware of that and thought the ideal was just 6 or just over. I have PH up/down so maybe bottled with PH 6.5 for C/M/P uptake. I'm not questioning your advice at all (very grateful) but just thinking about flouride and our tap water is not the best tbh. Think it was around PH 8.3 out of the tap when I tested it but guess that's normal.

8.3 ?.. Jeez. that's super high!. What does it raise to when you've let it stand for 24hrs & all the nasty's have dissipated ?.. Your best bet is to not alter the ph at all & let the soil do it's stuff.

Plants look hungry & cramped! Time to re-pot.
Not an expert on soil but everything I've read and seen suggests you don't fiddle with the PH, soil will balance itself out!
