    Default Quiet reliable filter systems

So I've taken the leap and bought a 400v lumatek 600w dimmable ballast and power plant air cooled hood and bulb for £200 which is quite reasonable so I have 200 to spend on a filter system I've decided to go 6inch although a 5 would have done so im getting a speed controller all i need no is some recommendations from anyone experienced growers out there so anyone suggest anything? Thanks in advance

£200 will not get you a 6" extractor fan, Rhino Pro carbon filter and a controller unless your really shop around.

Ebay and Amazon have very good deals if you search. The veriac controller is the one to get. Not sure what Amp rating you will need but they are pricey

Cnt remember the rhino series I've got. I think it's just the bottom on the line one but all I can say is it did me good. 5 x 5 x7 tent 5 plants and I didn't smell a thing

Yeah I agree the Rhino hobby series is good, price different is huge between the two and I am not sure how much difference there is in longevity between the two, hobby v pro.

If you use the hobby then be sure to follow the instructions that come with it about swapping the ends on a regular basis....

RVK fan, German made and as you'd expect, well built, reliable and does the job! Apart from a brief daliance with Phresh, at a shop owners advice (not worth shite, lesson learned on so called shop expertise) I've gone back to tried and tested Rhino Pro, current filter is on its 2nd outing, can't smell a thing when the tent is zipped up and pulling negative pressure.

Also as a side note make sure you control your humidity other wise no filter will work. I think I've finally killed my 5inch rhino pro filter off after my previous grow had some humidity issues.

Just a follow up on my kit more than happy with the fan kit couple of problems setting up due to a cock up with the ducting they didn't send 5m of ducting only 3 so run out called them and they sent me 5m of RAM ducting and 4 6inch jubilee clips as a gesture, kinsley hydroponics top job excellent service if you looking for a reputable hydro store
