I'm going to build raised beds or I've been really looking into huglekulter gardening and it seems very interesting indeed and follows my no till practices

    Morning TM.
All my measuring now is a pinch of this and a handful of that lol.
To build our soils though I would use a cup per cubic foot of nutrients and the minerals I'd go with two cups
This is for the complete 1:1:1 mix
    A 10 litre I'd use a third cup nutrient and say 2 3rd's minerals
It's best to mix the pile as big as poss in the beginning it will have better microbial action while it's sits in preparation
For the humic I follow the instructions it's a very small amount though
    Soon

    Ok, cheers

I'll get some sort of large mixing bucket & mix up a couple of hundred litres in advance. For the compost should i just add the correct amount to each pot when they're potted up, as a top dressing?

We are gonna do the composting different so I'll put that here later when I get home but we add our amendments to the pile when it gets to the mesophilc stage!

I got a kiddies paddling pool from argos about 15 quid it was perfect to mix it all in
    Soon brother

So this is something that would always be best mixed up in advance?

You've heard of cooking soil right. Well this mix won't really get hot because the c:n ratios not far off I would say the main reason is it gets the microbes working the soil better and it's easier to do that with a bigger pile. When I first mix the pile i probably bubble some water with compost/ewc in and water the soil to inoculate it because microbes are what we're counting on cycling these nutrients for us.
I have got cover crop seeds of which all play a roll in soil cycling I.E. nitrogen phosphorus fixing/deep rooting getting down in the soil etc I use clovers, alfalfa, fenugreek, fodder raddish.
You can even put the cover crops in the pots with the plants we're gonna use and they'll help feed them normally with the Ganga it grows eventually shading out the cover crop which then dies and cycles back into our top mulch layer.

With your so called super soil when we add lots of different amendments yes you would leave it a month at least because it will kill your plants for sure mate.
