I'm real happy with my No name 1,000W and my Morsen 2400W so far, but only had them a little over a month, but so far so good. You can get a 1000W noname for less than the price I see on the Mars there.

I bought a no name 1000w draws 370w at the wall. Paid £54 for it. Have not used it yet, put it on and stuck my meter on to see what it drew power wise.

Same tech as the 900w/1200w... it will fail eventually B.A. I wouldn't bother

For your space/needs I would take a look at the prakasa 200w (about £200) I was also talking to 'I am sal' on here & he/she tests LED's. He/she recommended the Vipaspectra 900w. (£210)

That's all good Type M, but I would have to disagree with you on that. For one thing, those Parkasa or only 3W. d, where as the No Name, and Moreson are double chip 5W/10W d. I have an Welpar 300W which is the same as the noname, just with a name, that are 60/5W d that only run me $64.00 bucks, and have had it over 3 months, and no problem with it at all, all lights are still working. I know that isn't a long time, but 90% of what you buy come from China from the same warehouse, so name brands don't really mean a whole lot. JMO

Just speaking from experience about the MARS/Prakasa at least mate. I know that those 3wd are performing better than MARS 5wd

im currently trying a pair of the Vipaspectra 450's,200rw each, and they seem to work well enough for the two auto pineapple expresses.
certainly very good for veg phase, girls are really perky n green.

i still rate hps as much better but have revisited leds due to the heat issues i know will hit me this year and of course my "basic at best" situation.

value for money?...if you have reliable 21st century power supply and controllable conditions etc ,not 19th century flick a switch n pray the mouse keeps running setup like i have then no,not really, hps kicks arse all the way.

led in my mind is purely a "situation tool" to get by on,for same money you can have a gavita pro or for much less a basic dimmable and bulbs.
both levels are proven to meet demands.

I'm torn on upgrading to gavita/dimlux or to get some LEDs mixed with my current setup for the extra light spread

I have two of those with a 400w hps and i was amazed last crop , theres another half decent led manufaxturer Viparspctra , a little more expensive but damn well worth it ,it would seem .

When in veg keep em high because they will make very very bushy plants , 20"-24" or so in veg and 15/16" flower and wear some type of gogles cuz they are very hard on eyes man .

When i have extra cash , ill be investing in 1000w and elminate the hps leccy hogs altgether . Fucking skyrocketing hydro bills insane
