    Default What size pump for 25 Lt oxy

    Hi can anyone help need a new pump for my 25 lt oxy pot what's the best on to buy I've had a hydor ario aerator but wasn't powerful for roots now it dead that's why looking for new one

    Yeah perfect . Be sure to let some "let off" from the pump if you are only using one or two stones because she will be strangled for air will heat up and eventually burn out

    I allways went with 1200- 1500 lph per pot might be overkill but in my eyes the more DO the better

    Ok what i mean by that is . Those pumps are made for high output . If you only have one stone running . Pressure builds and heats up motor and diaphragm pops . So best you have a minimum of 4 stones running or 2 big round ones .

    So if you hwve a header that comes with it . Best you get a few valves and let some blow off a bit of pressure . Mine got hot in 3 minutes ,once i put a few extra stones on she colled down and ran properly .

    Thanks lads for you info just picked up my new pump n stone it's miles beta now just need help with my etc pen now got s cheap one from eBay it reads in us but my buffer is 1413 ms/cm what should I see on my pen.

    1.4 ms is 1.4 EC in total . Check the charts for ppm/tds
