I wouldn't waste my time and money trying to grow under those. LED'S are quite improved over the years and are really cheap, or you can go old school with MH-HPS, they are also improved and much cheaper than years pass. Happy growing and good luck.

I pretty much agree with hotshot but I'm sure they could come in handy for a bit of vegging for seedlings etc but I would probably add a blue type bulb.
Happy growing

Thanks for the help guys I shall invest in some better lighting
Agreed, I went and took a wee look at them as on the surface they SOUND not bad, but the colour spectrum is a bit off (def needs more blue) and they appear to covert a lot of energy to heat along with quite focused light to get the 'basking' area for reptiles, while isn't what we want for plants
Can't remember my PAR spectrum offhand but I don't think growers have much use for anything above 700-800nm? which is where most of that bulbs energy goes, i do have a niggling hunch their graph is off though

Here is some pictures of mine, first a 300W Wellpar, and a 2400W morsen, and a 1000W No name brand, which looks just like the Wellpar, and Moreson. These are really good lights, with lot's reds, which is what you need mostly for flower, but works just as well in veg. $319.oo for the Moreson 2400W, $94.99 for the no name 1000W, and $64.00 for the Wellpar 300W. the Morsen and No name, are 5W double chip, 10W DI. And the WellPar is 5W single DI. The 2400W has 6 fans on it, and plenty of Par

I have been looking at the led lights what watt would be the absolute minimum to use on 3 plants?
GEORGE (07-01-17)
I think the 1,000W would do you good on 3 plants, I have done 3 auto, on my 220W Solarfrair, and two Photo's, pull 10oz on the photo, and 9oz on the three auto. So, 300W would do you good I think. Here is A picture of an MEDUSA I done once, pull 6oz from here under my 220W Solarflair. And the other picture is of a White Widow Bomb, I am growing now under 3,400W, about 14 days into flower, I pretty she is going to be a monster, and my personal best.
