I have noticed that some of the pistols have started to curl and brown on some of the buds already (20 days flowering) This appears to be more prominent on the lower "top buds", if that make sense? What I mean by that is the top buds on the outer stems/colas that have not stretched as high as the main central ones. Is this due to them not getting the same quality light? Will they prematurely age before the rest of the plant is ready for harvest? I'm not particularly worried, it'd just be a shame to lose them as they're nice and sticky and full of trichomes. To me they look healthier than some of those close to the light.
Another question. Do I still keep the CFL light as close as possible to the plant top? (2-4")
You will have to excuse my limited broken weed vocabulary!
