    Default Autoflowering pot size?

What kind of pot size is good to use for autoflowering plant? Is it true that it's good to transplant the germinated seed to the final container because then it wont shock the plant? If it's true then the taproot will go straight down and all the roots will gather in the bottom of pot leaving most of the grow media unused? Hmmm...I don't know what to do. Any help much appreciated.

It's a personal preference type of answer, but I prefer 20 litre pots for when I do autos.

Also, I've started all my autos in 1 litre pots & potted up to the 20 litre without any problems.

A 10L pot is ideal for autoflowers but as Loki says personal preference really. You can put the seed straight into the final pot as said to avoid stress, tap root facing down.

In the early vegative stage of its life the plant will concentrate on filling the available space with roots. Root growth will then slow down as the flowering hormones kick in but it will continue fill the pot.. Take a look at air pots they give great results

You can use any size pot depending on the size of your groom mate. Plenty of good advices above.

For Auto growing I believe that 10 litre Airpots are a very good size. Not sure if an Auto will fill all the volume in an 20 litre pot considering they have such a short vegetative cycle.

I reckon my 20 litre pots will be pretty full up.
