    Default mars hydro 700w to diy cob cree

    HI.
    has anyone on here done any DIY conversions using there old mars 700w
    i want to convert mine to cob cree...full spectrum veg and flower, but want to use all internals apart from the leds.
    can anyone tell me or point me in right direction on how to work out what is needed for my drivers.
    inside my mars is 6 drivers pt1004b
    ac in 100v to 240v
    dc out 55v to 100v 0,7 - 0,75 amp.

    Here's how to do the 400w version, I would imagine the 700w version isn't that much different?

    Something worth doing once my Mars dies, but me and electricity are not the best of friends. It's not something you can send to a shop to get done either.

    i was hoping some 1 has done something to the 700w mars,, just to see what they came up with

    I'll swap it for mine once you've done it.

    Now my fingers are like penises, and blurry vision, I struggle tinkering with the PC - and that is something I've done 1000's of times.

    just incase any 1 is interested been speaking to someone that converted there mars 700w, he used

    Bridgelux BXRC-35E4000-F-23 ................x 16
    on 4 drivers he used v 3 cobs
    2 drivers he used 2 x cobs and a fan .
    there might be a newer generation of cobs out now, im still looking around still but will update if i find anything else out..
